Why it's OK to surrender. Learning to let go in the planning process.
OK, so it’s 2 months before your wedding. I get that you’re anxious. I get that you’re nervous. I know you’re worried that you’ll show up the day of your wedding to find grocery store twigs and daisies as your centerpieces. I know you’re scared the DJ will only play 1970’s polka hits and no one will dance. I know you’re concerned the venue will time the meal all off kilter and interrupt your first dance with an announcement that the buffet is open. But really, you can relax. You worked hard to get this day planned to perfection. Your floral designer knows what they’re doing- the accolades they’ve gotten weren’t granted for no reason. There’s a very good reason why they’re charging you what they’re charging. They’re the experts.
The DJ knows how to move the crowd- that’s why you hired him right? So don’t stress about don’t play or must play lists- they’ve got it under control and will really know how to work it when the night comes.
Your venue DOES have your best interest in mind- that’s why we work closely together to make sure the timing works for everyone involved. This isn’t their first trip to the rodeo. They can handle it!
If you've done your research and hired the best, you can relax. Your vendors are the professionals. We’re going out on the line to make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for. One of the reasons you hire pros is so that you don’t HAVE to make centerpiece mock-ups. It’s so you don’t HAVE to work out the entire night’s playlist. It’s so you can take a deep breath and relax a little bit, and actually enjoy your planning process.
So go ahead, take a step back, and take a deep breath. Everything is going to be just fabulous. Trust us, we’re the pros for a reason!
