My name is Jasmine Cianflone, and I'm the high priestess of wedding logistics and event styling (and owner) of Jasmine Cianflone & Associates (previously known as This Moment Events).
I launched This Moment Events in 2008 because I truly believe that celebrations are a great way to share your story, and stories are what connect us all. I’m one planner who will encourage you to find YOUR ideal vision. I am not into cookie cutter events, and I don’t expect you to be either. When it comes to planning weddings, the experience is quite a journey – you grow and you learn a lot about yourself, your family and your fiance. When you’re knee deep in details, your future mother in law has seemingly lost her ever-loving mind, and your brain is swimming with shades of blue (or purple or yellow), sometimes you need help remembering the why of it all. (hint: the why is getting married!!!!!!!)
That’s why I’m here–to help you figure out your vision, bring that vision to life, help you leave your stamp on it, and help you stay sane in the process. Trust me, engagement is a wild ride, and it’s going to be over in a flash. We're here to handle the details and help YOU get to the soul of your event, because life is a celebration, not a competition!
In January of 2018, This Moment Events was reborn as Jasmine Cianflone & Associates.
These days, when I’m not planning events or coaching my tribe of creative mom-preneurs, you can find me doing yoga, curled up on the couch watching a good movie, crocheting another throw, reading a good book, or in my kitchen trying out a new recipe. I’m a mom to my three amazing kids Jacob, Benjamin, and Giada, and a wife to my handsome techie husband, Joe. My family is my greatest treasure. I believe that everyone can and should have access to the good life on their own terms– we just have to have the courage to go get it!

10 fun facts about me:
1. I have been singing in choruses and choirs since I was in second grade, but singing solo in a concert terrifies me. However, karaoke and I get along quite well!
2. I adore bubbly, (Champagne, prosecco, brut - I'm all over it - in a flute, of course!), but I am just as comfortable drinking a nice cold glass of beer or a margarita (rocks and salt please!).
3. I am a complete and total geek at heart - and I currently belong to several fandoms - including but not limited to: LoTR, Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Harry Potter. I have a thing for fantasy and sci-fi, and my hubby and I often have conversations sprinkled heavily with movie quotes.
4. My favorite part of any wedding is when the new couple comes back down the aisle together right after they are pronounced! Something about witnessing the first moments of a brand new family gets me every time!
5. I have a bizarre obsession with office supplies. When I was little, back to school shopping was a joy for me- I love the new pens and fresh notebooks!
6. I'm a sorority girl! I went to Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and pledged Gamma Phi Beta.
7. I will dance at your wedding reception. I'm usually off in the corner with my headset on a binder in my arms, but when a good song comes on, I'm shaking it.
8. I've seen many of the ways that weddings & events can go wrong first hand in my days as a planner, and I know how to fix them! One of the first events I worked back in my internship days, the 6 tier rose covered cake collapsed. The stories I could tell you!
9. In my world, bacon is a major food group. I've been tempted to go vegetarian, but my love of bacon has always stopped me.
10. I love heading into the city to see a show, I love sitting on the shore watching the waves roll in, and I love standing on the top of a mountain taking in the glory of nature. I'm adaptable.
BONUS Fact: I am 100% into the woo-woo and spiritual side of life. I read Tarot for myself, practice yoga and meditation, and use affirmations and vision boarding to reach my goals.

How long have you been planning weddings?
I have been planning weddings and events professionally since 2008, and I started TME in 2009. Our team has almost 23 years of combined experience in the wedding industry. This Moment Events was reborn as Jasmine Cianflone & Associates in January of 2018.
Are you certified to plan weddings?
Yes. I hold the designation of Certified Wedding Planner through the Association of Bridal Consultants.
What services do you offer? Do you do Day of Coordination?
Our core service is Wedding Day Management and Event Styling. (sometimes called Day-of or Month-of Coordination). If you're a couple who needs a bit more, we do have add-on services available to create a customized suite. We offer full service planning for those couples planning at unique venues, like barns, museums and warehouse spaces. We also offer planning workshops and intensives.
For our Transformational event clients, every service suite is custom created at an hourly rate.
How much do your services cost?
We like to be transparent- our wedding coordination & event styling services start at $2750. You can also find our starting prices here. A professional wedding planner is a true investment in your day- one that will save you time, energy and ultimately, money. Our goal is to give you an impeccable experience at the best value for your hard earned dollars.
As to why we don't list our full pricing on our website- it's mainly because we don't want to give you the wrong information! Your wedding is as individual as your love story - and the service you get from us, and the pricing attached, will be as well. Please inquire about your date and schedule a Meet & Greet with us so that we can learn more about your event and create a customized planning proposal for you.
What if I don’t want a cake/toasts/dancing/etc.
This is definitely not a problem for us- this is your wedding, do it your way! And we’ll help you make it happen, AND help you explain to your family the why behind whatever element is missing. Although they’ll probably never miss it!
Do you plan same sex weddings/civil unions/commitment ceremonies?
YES! Why on earth wouldn't we?
Will you work with vendors we’ve already found, or vendors we really want to work with?
Absolutely! We know some of the best wedding pros in New Jersey, NYC and PA, so we do provide recommendations if you need them. Since we have experience with these professionals, we can guarantee the quality of their work. However, if you’ve found the photographer or florist of your dreams, we’ll gladly work with them. Your wedding is a team effort after all, and we play very well with others.
What types of payment do you take, and do you offer payment plans?
We accept cash, personal and cashier’s checks, and Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express in studio via Square. We also accept online payments, and our payment structure features a 33% retainer and monthly payments thereafter until 30 days prior to your wedding day.
Do you take more than one wedding per day?
Nope. Our lead planners and planning teams are currently available to service a maximum of two clients per month.

The next step is for you to schedule your Meet & Greet: Click Here to inquire about your date. You'll get a super fast reply, and a chance to schedule your Meet & Greet meeting. At your Meet & Greet, we’ll discuss your wedding plans in brief, and discuss our services that match your personality, style and budget. If needed, we will then schedule your Premiere Planning Workshop. When you attend your this meeting we’ll discuss your wedding plans in great detail and help you discover exactly what This Moment Events can accomplish for you.
What should I expect at my Meet & Greet?
The Meet & Greet is a 45 minute face to face meeting designed for us to get to know each other better. Come in to our office, or if you're not local, we can chat via FaceTime, Google Hangout or Video Conference. Expect to spend about 45 minutes with us discussing your wedding, so we can get a feel for each other's personalities and learn exactly what you need. Before you have your Meet & Greet, we'll send over a questionnaire to help us understand where you are in the planning process and what you'll be looking for from us. What should I expect at my Premiere Planning Workshop?
Once you are signed on as a JCA client, we start the process off with your Premiere Planning Workshop and Kickoff Meeting. This in-depth, hands on meeting is where we construct the game plan for your big day and get down to the nitty gritty details. Plan to spend between 90 minutes and 2 hours with the TME team at our studio. We’ll chat about the two of you as a couple, discuss your wedding plans and budget in great detail, and get really real about the vision for your day. This is your very first planning meeting with TME and we'll give you ideas and concrete examples of how we can help you achieve all of your wedding goals and truly enjoy planning your wedding. We'll go through your welcome packet full of planning ideas, vendor recommendations and tips, and we'll chat about our contract and what you can expect as a client of ours. We may listen to some music, likely drink coffee (or something stronger) and eat a few snacks. That’s it- easy peasy!
If you'd like to book a Premiere Planning Workshop prior to signing a contract with JCA, the fee for this meeting is $250 (payable online prior to our scheduled meeting). If after our workshop, you choose to have us on your team, we will credit the fee towards your final payment. We are beyond excited to meet you and look forward to becoming a part of your story!
